Apple has officially released iTunes 10 this week with more then three million downloads within the first 48 hours. One of the most noticeable features in their attempt into a social network using music as the main theme. This feature is called Ping with currently over one million users within the first 48 hours and more to come. It will allow you to track your favorite artist, friends, post status, videos and photos like most social networks. On release they had Facebook Connect but had to remove it due to violations of usage. There are many flaws within this system but once Apple works out the bugs it could even rival Last.FM in Social Media. As for a initial review this concept is great for those iTunes users but far from competing with their competitors but with Apple's Marketing Power.

Today at IFA 2010 in Berlin Samsung announced and demonstrated it's answer to tablet computing - the Galaxy Tab. The IFA is one of the largest consumer electronic conferences in the world where many major vendors show off whats to come. Today Samsung stole the spotlight revealing the Galaxy Tab. This portable device features a 7 inch screen running Google's Android Operating System with a MicroSD Port. This is fairly similar in specs as the Dell 5 inch Android System. As there not much else to say about this device but I am pretty sure this is not the answer to take on the Apple iPad Business. This device will be released to the public shortly for about $250 - 300 USD and in Europe before the United States.
