We recently ordered and received a Wacom Bamboo Fun (CTH-661) Digital Drawing Tablet. The Wacom Tablet uses a multi-touch and a pen input on a silver drawing pad that measures in at 8.5 x 5.4 inch for pen (7.5 x 5.1 inches for touch). This device comes with a great software package that includes Adobe Photoshop Elements 7, Corel Painter Essentials 4 and Nik Color Efex Pro for beginners; but they are not to the level of Adobe Photoshop CS4. Overall, the device is a great tool for our designers to create stunning artwork on a digital level that is native and natural to drawing. Although the multi-touch is feature takes some time to get use to as it feels like a big touch-pad on a notebook. This is a must have tool for only $199 for any beginners. The only downside that we know of, is we wish they would have included a stand for the pen and a mouse, like the pro level of the Intuos4.

On April 24, 2010 on board Space Shuttle Discovery was the crew of STS-31 and one of the most valuable payloads in Space History. That was 20 years ago as the Hubble Space Telescope began its mission of photographing Space and the beyond. At first the images where blurred do to technology upgrades in May 2009, the crew made it 100 times more powerful then when it was launch. Flying just about 375 miles above us and traveling around the world in just about 97 minutes allows the telescope to focus and take images of stars 7,500 light years away. With over one-half million amazing images of 30,000 celestial objects in it's archive, its time is coming to an end. Within just a few short years the next-generation Space Telescope is set to take orbit in 2014, a lesson well learn.
