Today Apple held a Press Conference to discuss the iPhone 4 and it's minor issues. The open up the presentation with a song mocking Antenna Issues of the iPhone; which was pretty comical. First up were the raw numbers, as expected, they broke records again selling 3 million iPhone 4 in the first 3 weeks. This are pretty good numbers with some minor design flaws. Apple has admitted they are not prefect nor are phone demonstrating the same issues on RIM, Android and Windows Mobile Phones (all on AT&T Network). The showed images of their multi million dollar testing location in which the iPhone goes through many test. Now back to some other raw numbers for the iPhone 4 - it has drop fewer calls then the iPhone 3Gs and this antenna issues has only effected less then 1% of iPhone 4 users. There can may ways to resolve this issue but Apple has come up with a solution.

The Apple Solution : we will release iOS 4.0.1 to address signal reporting issues and the users who purchased an iPhone 4 Bumper Case will be refunded for the case. If you didn't purchase a bumper case you will get one for free now through Sept 30, 2010. Next on the agenda is by the end of July they will release the White iPhone 4 because they love their users. Is this the right move for Apple to do; as they do design great products?
