We have recently purchased a 2TB Toshiba Desktop External Hard Drive to increase our office storage space. This drive features backup and recover software and runs on eSATA or USB with a slim design. As for the drive it seems to work fairly well over both eSATA and USB with Windows XP but our main desktop is running Windows 7. The problem we have come across with Windows 7 and this drive out of the box, that it will keep disappearing even when you are working on a project that is accessing the drive. I am sure there are some setting to change this but its not out of the box setting. This is a slight disappointment along with no eSATA cable in package. If you are looking for a new drive to expand your home storage space this is a good drive but Windows XP recommended.
