    Last night new broke that Nokia Siemens plans to acquire the Motorola Wireless Network for about $1.2 billion in case. Motorola has been planning to split the company into two Wireless and Mobile Devices in the early part of 2011. Motorola's Wireless Network Infrastructure provides products and services for all types of carriers and spans many technologies including GSM, CDMA, WiMax and LTE. As part of the deal Nokia Siemens will gain more then 50 major operators including Clearwire, Sprint, Verizon and Vodafone. This deal is expected to close by the end of this year in which 7,500 employees will transfer over to Nokia Siemens along with large research and development sites. Motorola will still control the patents and the iDEN Network for business. These two companies are expected to create a joint effort into changing the global public services industry and create a wholesale LTE Network.
