Facebook has been in the press recently regarding a development contracts thats date back seven years. This contract claims that one of the developers owns 50% of Facebook (approx. $5 billion). While Facebook has been one of the fastest growing social networks of all times reaching 500 million users worldwide within just six short years. Most people are like just 500 million but take account that the total United States Population is 300 million. Facebooks final goal one billion users and on it current rate could see that by the end of 2011 (approx 15% of the world's population). These numbers are quite a feat but are they here to stay? Have they reached the limits of social networking? Are the a major target for any minor and major legal issues? These answer are all yes soon they will be at maximum capacity where it stabilizes. Where other networks will come in while they face legal battles its just business but we do with Facebook well in seeking that one billion user mark.
